I am doing some research on Airline Command Courses, and I would like to compare the structure of Command Courses across different carriers.

I would appreciate the details of the structure of the Command Course that your Airline offers, e.g., number of simulator sessions, number of LOFT sessions, number of sectors of line training, and also, if your Airline has a Pre-Command assessment program.

TIA for any replies.

Most of the airlines that I have worked for require at the minimum,

Pre-command assessment, absolutely.
Sim sessions, eight.
Loft, two.
Sectors (with check Captain), twenty to thirty.

And, altho many airlines now use level D simulators, most foreign aircarriers that I have worked for REQUIRE base checks in the aeroplane...and think this is a very good idea, nowithstanding the fact that it is expensive.
