Hello,

I am going to the Westerwald, near Cologne this weekend, and would really enjoy seeing the area from the air. Last time I was there I went to the local airfield, but there was no club or school - just a hanger full of privately owned aircraft. I have been trying to find a club or school in the area with no luck. I was just wondering whether anybody knew of an airfield near there where I could hire an aircraft (plus instructor if poss???)

Cheers

TM

Hi!

try in Breitscheid! There's a club there and also a commercial school. It's located just south-east of Siegerland. Has a nice "family" atmosphere.

enjoy your stay!

Thankyou very much. I went there on Saturday, and spoke to Frau Totzauer. Unfortunately the weather was very poor, or I would have gone for a flight. Next time perhaps.

pity you didn't get to enjoy a flight... maybe you'll make it there again some day....

keep flying!
