If we tell you, you'll miss all the NAV and FP practice. :p

Both are on the CAA 1:500000 you use around Manston.

Holloway - it could comfortably be done in 45 mins in a Warrior.

God knows  - this is the kinda thing you work out on the CRP1 computer I showed you the other day at the club!

Work it out in miles, then assume a cruise of 115kts in a Warrior, and Bob's your budgie :D

I just plug it all into Navbox and it tells me. Much easier! Once I've got a route I like the look of, I print it out and draw the lines on my map.

It's a piece of software used for flight planning. I've not seen it, but have heard it's great.

If I ever get into serious touring (let's just get the licence first ;)) then I might get it, but not before.

Edited because we at pprune can not condone the illegal use of software that is under copyright. I am sure you can understand this stance......... :)

Oh:o I thoght it was a download of software or something. Where can I get it from then??

Thanks :)

I suggest you purchase the one with the closest match to your requirements -- I seem to remember the details are on the site.

Will there be a new thread here this afternoon titled:

"How do you use NavBox Software?" ;)

According to my trustee Jeppesen FlightStar VFR software (another product like NavBox).

Manston to Le2K(Paris-Plage - LFAT) is 50.8Nm direct which is about half an hour in an R44 (110 kts).

Manston to Le Mans (Arnage - LFRM) is 208.4Nm direct which is about 2 hours in an R44 (110kts)

Hm, nice one RH...

Now we'll immediately have a thread called: "Should I buy Jepp or NavBox?"
