Is it just me or does anyone else find the term "Operational Resource" dehumanising and demeaning. British Airways Operational Resource department is called a People Department.
I am not naive enough to think that BA treats its staff any better, but if NATS refered to its employees as people and not Operational Resources it might be a start of some bridge building between staff and management.
Just a thought!

Don't you just love management-speak?

If only they could manage.

Difficult problem this.

If NATS are going to start referring to things with an accurate description (eg operational resources = people), then how are they going to describe the group currently referred to as management?

Suggestions anyone ..............:D
