Firstly, I would like to say that I understand what the limit system does, and how it works, in basic terms.
We always used to cycle the system to 'override' during our after start procedures, to ensure the limiting system was fully in the 'null' mode.
I've done this in several companies, with differently rated engines, ie, the C2 & D4.
Now, my present company has decided to delete this procedure, after having been doing it for some time, now I'm confused.
If it was necessary before, why is it now no longer necessary?
Maybe some of you QF types can answer this, I know you do/did this forever!
Cheers.
