I fly early model Airbus 319/320's, manufacture dates 1992, '93, '94 or thereabouts. Our CIDS panels are of the old push button type. Our flight manual and the attendant flight manual do not address or address incompletely my following questions:

Is there any significance to having 1 vs 2 red pin lights in the top portion of the indicators/push buttons? Cabin lighting push buttons all have one pin light, WATER/WASTE all have two except for IND ON p/b, LAV SMOKE two,but EVAC command one?

What in addition to the following will trigger the WATER and WASTE SYS INOP lights? Lav servicing panel door open, vacuum generator failure, waste tank full, potable water supply empty, LAV smoke detector failure (are these correct?)

Pushing the RESET button will reset a CIDS caution light airborne and silence a smoke detector alarm. What else will it do - does it silence an evacuation horn? If the evacuation was triggered by the cockpit or aft FA control panel will pushing in the forward FA CIDS panel silence the localized horn?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
