Anybody know how to get to threads over two months old?

Seems like a few weeks ago we can not get to all the AF477 stuff or the outstanding Concorde thread, which is priceless.

Inquiring old pilot wants to know....

If you can remember the title of the thread use the 'search' function gums.

At the bottom of the forum page is a box Display Options, you can select there how much back you want to see threads in this forum, all the way to the beginning of this site.

Keep in mind that the search function

(a) can be quite selective to avoid the padding

(b) has a maximum return of (I think ?) 500 items .. so the padding is a real nuisance searching for old threads ...

For instance, for AF447, try

(a) the advanced search option

(b) keyword "AF447"

(c) posts from "any date" option

(d) search in forums "tech log"

and the result has, as the first entry, the last of the AF447 threads .. which contains links to the earlier items ... around 180 threads, in toto, going back to mid-2009. If I include myself, for instance, in the username box .. this comes down to a dozen or so hits only .. most of which are the thread sequence you are after.

Merry Christmas (regardless of faith) and a prosperous New Year to one and all in the Tech Log family.

Salute and Thanks Denti, J.T and others

Found the option box at lower left of page. Funny, but don't remeber seeing that untila few weeks ago.

Think I will punt on a few of the better threads to keep them active. The Concorde is worth $$$$, and we need to make it a sticky or something for all to see and learn and wonder...

Use Google instead. Prefix your search term(s) with the name of this site, for example:

site:pprune.org AF447
