Hi all,
Is work experience essential or desirable for gaining a placement in the cadetship? Due to the nature of my course (Aviation) and flying (3x a week), I was unable to work part-time.

Would having no prior work experience degrade my chances towards getting a cadetship though? Yes. My ex boyfriend is a Virgin cadet. He told me there was an intake last year.

Not necessarily, if you have a good extracurricular background, then you have a lot of examples to draw from from there for job interviews.
