Well that's the title of the latest NATS News, and it rather sums up how our company propagandists view the rest of the world.

So, how many managers, beancounters and desk-wallahs are 'employed' in the expensive SE. compared to elsewhere ?

And what is the overhead that this puts on the company ?

How many sacked managers/beancounters/DWs would it take to give ATCOs a 10% payrise ? :D

And while I'm at it ... anyone else pissed off with the self important interviews in NATS News with 'specialists' and 'support' staff who have never seen a radar tube or outside OKS (sic), and whose 'ambition' is to 'be the Chief Exec for day'. Never hear of them wanting to be an ATCO for a day ... I wonder why ..... do they know what an ATCO is ?

Then again, I suppose no self respecting ATCO would show their face in the ops room if their grinning mug had been printed in the rag. ;)

Answers on a postcard to ....dear Richard
