I am just about to sell my 44 and was wondering what the current rates look like for SFH and are they generally dry or wet quoted. I have googled it but most of the companies that come up are long gone. Sign of the times maybe? Any help would be much obliged, oh and for the usual set of people who Robbie bash at the slightest excuse, I'm really not interested .
Thanks

What would that be if it was dry? Thanks for all your help!

Mr Guide,

Good question but I don't think I have ever known anyone do that, The price list doesn't mention it!

Is it not just a case of subtracting the cost of an hour's very well-managed fuel- burn?

It is alleged that "wet" renters fly "balls to the wall" 'cos it aint their fuel-bill, whereas a "dry" renter will pay for mismanagement.
setting a dry rate would be a bit of a stick and carrot exercise, IMO......but I'm not a heli pilot, so read into it what you will. :\

Based on some of the flying seen on you tube... if I rented out an R44 it would be dry with the fuel cap locked!

And perhaps a 5ft chain attached firmly to the ground at one end and the skids at the other:Du

Raven I - perhaps 15-16USG/hr
Raven II - 16-18USG/hr

Fuel is somewhere around the £1.80/ltr rate, and there are about 3.8ltr to 1 USG...

Other costs vary depending upon who is leasing, and any other arrangements.
