Hey guys,
There's one thing I've always wondered about and I guess here will be someone who can help me understanding this. :)
On the BK 117 C1's overhead panel, where the engine power levers are located, there's an area labeled "EMER" which looks like you could slide the levers there. Up there is also a long, silver splint pin with a ring. Seems to be related to the levers somehow?
Well I couldn't find a C1 Flight Manual on the Internet, so that question tortures me for ages now.
It would be awesome if someone could be so kind and explain what exactly happens when you move the levers to this position and what that silver splint pin does :)
