Just wanted to say what a brilliant afternoon on Sunday at a small French flying club at Couhe-Verac, near Niort. The Meeting Aerien was brilliantly organised, with commentary in French and English. Star (IMHO) was the 75% scale Mosquito from Fontenay le Comte. atmosphere was like an aerial picnic, with BBQ, small bar and lots of flying. Aero Club de Couhe - "merci, tres bonne"

Avez-vous des photographes?

Think he might be meaning this one, there can't be that many. This photo was taken at the 2013 Vichy RSA meeting, I saw it there this year too but passed it on my photo tour.

There is a website dedicated to this plane somewhere in France, if I remember right.

Maximum photograph size is 800 x 600, I tried to get it to show smaller but didn't find a way.

BTW well done to try some French but there's a rather funny mistake: "un(e) photographe" is a (fe)male photographer, an image is "une photographie". Had I wanted to poke fun at you, I could have replied "No, but my late brother was once married to one" ...

Ah yes, Couhé Vérac. Where there was an air show last Sunday, I was there as well.
Pretty good show, the bits I saw between doing joyrides. The lunch was dreadful, though.
They get all the surrounding Aeroclubs to supply aircraft and pilots to fly large circuits with excited passengers in between the displays. Got there with a somewhat low cloudbase, left between cu-nimbs, got soaked putting the aircraft in the hangar then found I had left my car keys at Couhé.
Not the best of days.

" with commentary in French and English."

Was it delivered with a strong Scottish accent?. Thought I recognised the commentator with the microphone.

PC - was that the "helpers and pilots lunch" from the refrigerated trailer? The BBQ "sandwich" and frites was great

Yes, plastic tray of plastic food. Undercooked pork, industrial chicken. The pud was all right.
