German scientists make it possible to fly a plane with your brain (http://www.engadget.com/2014/05/28/mind-controlled-plane-germany-brainflight/?ncid=rss_truncated&utm_campaign=socialmedia_fb&utm_source=socialmedia_fb&utm_medium=fb)

I'm not convinced that demo was accurate enough " to pass a flying licence test"!

will be interesting to check out the real thoughts and actions of a pilot while in a challenging sim test ride and how does the actual flying relate to the actual thinking of the pilot. Are decisions made up by competence and can the pilot make his/her own decisions based on accurate cognitive functioning in adverse situations or is it just flying by numbers? Is the pilot driven by confidence or anxiety in his/her decisions? which part of the brain is/is not working whilst confronted with multi tasking and in stress? This research could have a deep impact on medical examination, lets hope it will be used correctly.

Question is who's brain will be chosen to control the flight.
