The reputation they have in the industry is not the best, let's put it this way.

Now they're recruiting for a Falcon 2000LX captain and offering first officer pay. I'm sure they'll have lots of eager applicants willing to work for free if necessary...

My personal advice as I used to work for them, is don't touch them with a barge pole, or any Austrian operation. poor pay and bad working conditions. Austria is seen as a flag / AOC of convenience. Alot of AOC's for a small country.

[QUOTE][Austria is seen as a flag / AOC of convenience/QUOTE]

Yes too right! I could not agree more. Never ceases to amaze me that right in the heart of Europe there is an authority that is seen as a soft touch.

Unhealthy aplogists for all things Russian ...Dodgy "private " Charter anyone? No problems if you are on an Austrian Flag...

Smells of corruption to me.

Hello. I'm also interested in knowing any updates regarding AVCON Jet. Last I read around here is that they are not serious with FTL, pay low wages and planes and people are leaving the company. This sort of surprises me since according to their web, they have 3 AOC's (Austrian, Malta and South Africa) and operate a bunch of airplanes (including an A319). Seems like a lot for a "not serious" company... Anyone with first hand information I would truly appreciate.

Avcon Jet – everything is going well if you receive salary and per diems directly from the owner.

Operations team is exceptional. Crew Control – bunch of great and professional people.
Key Account Management – bunch of guys, who are thinking they are "very smart".
Accounting – as almost everywhere. Slow and not efficient.

In case your aircraft being sold by owner – be 100 % sure they will not offer you an employment within a company, if you are either not Austrian or not doing something for them (writing and supporting manuals).

Good luck!

This one I find even better...

Jobs - Austrian Aviation Net (http://www.austrianaviation.net/jobs-stellenangebote/jobsdetail/datum/2016/05/05/first-officer-bombardier-challenger-605.html)

CL605 First Officer

2000 EUR for 20/10 ON/OFF

Non Typerated can apply as well but I guess most of the 2000 EURs will go to the bank that financed the TR... Must be a (bad) joke

No, this is not a salary, indeed these are the tips you receive.., not bad, - oh! Should I bend further...bend over, Bubba is coming. -' twas ' the reply in an Avcon jet interview.. Almost as terrible when Air Malta were offering the 'chance' to sign up pilot cadets to sign a 10 year training bond from ab intio - contracts from the dark ages...
