Fly/Fly holiday in europe?

This weather has got me thinking...

Is there anywhere in Europe that I can take the family (wifey and 2 kids) on holiday which is near a beach, with great walks, good hotel/villa and near a GA airport where I can hire a plane Cessna / Piper for sneaky early morning flights?

Or is that too idealistic?
