Watch BBC1’s Antiques Roadshow at 8pm, Sunday, 23rd June. The episode is the final in the present series and the second from RAF Marham in Norfolk. Join Fiona Bruce and the experts as they view antiques and collectibles brought in by 3,500 members of the public to one of the RAF’s most important main operating bases.
Might be a good idea if the Stores had a good clear out ... bound to be stuff from WWII still on charge :ok:

Probably still some leftover paint from the late '50s when I was ordered, as barrack room Corporal, to have all the beds painted pale blue. :ok:

Marham antiques? I thought this would be about the honorary member who use to hang around the bar in the late 80's and early 90's drinking himself to a standstill.

Did you hear the RB199 powered Slingsby fly over?
or indeed see the jet powered Slingsby - as FB proudly and frothily announced "this is the first exhibit we have ever had delivered by a jet!", a few minutes after a shot of the Slingsby shutting down.:ugh:
The very white and Germanic Slingsby cunning disguised as a Tutor? Must have been shot a long time ago...
Point well made, Correction Grob.......
I must have been distracted by FB's legs.

Interesting that the Schnieder Cup apparently arrived in a fast jet when it was shown being unstrapped from a Tutor! Have we got a secret turbo prop version that holds onto its blades then?

Some were very white BTW before they went yellow, I did the control balancing on them after they got painted. Also G-Hong and G-Kong originated in White, went Yellow and then back to White after they realised it was verboten for them to be painted yellow.
