Hi all

Iīm trying to get as much info as possible on the "future implementation" of a new category of FTLīs for Air Taxis operators under EASA rules.

So far I have not found any valuable information and even CAA doesnīt have a clue of whatīs going to happen.

Any info is appreciated

Just found this, looks like no one knows what itīs going to happen, the brussels brains doing exactly what should not be done.

With the amount of references to the "European Parliament and of the Council" quite a lot by the looks of it.

Have you read through the document that post #2 refers to?

EASA does not make the law, it simply submits an Opinion to the European Commission. After due consideration by the EC's EASA Committee (termed comitology) a (sometimes heavily) revised Regulation is submitted to the TRAN Committee of the European Parliament. It is necessary only to compare the original EASA Opinion on the Aircrew Regulation with what was finally railroaded through the EP to see exactly how much influence 'Brussels' has on the process.
