Does anyone know where to get gyrocopter training near west london other than Rochester - too far away, Oxford - the instructer appears to spend most of the year in portugal, Henstridge - too far. There doesnt appear to be much support for autogyros in the uk.

Try Gyrocopter Experience Salisbury based at Old Sarum. The CFI, Steve Boxall, is a fine chap (and my brother). He's full time, every day except Sunday.

Kev Robinson operates out of Chiltern Park:

- Gyrocopters (http://www.chiltern.aero/page.php?page=Gyrocopters)

on the road from Wallingford to Reading. Nice chap; used to fly from Benson but there were problems with the mixed rotary/fw/gyro operations so he jumped ship. There's a phone number on that website if you want to contact him.
