Hard to read on tablets & iPhones. Should go with ebook format (any kind, I don't care).

Since for obvious reason the majority of active pilots has an iPad, a Newsstand App would be a good investment. And don't make it one of those graphics heavy pieces of crap that also still think they are on paper.

Lean and mean like The Magazine (http://the-magazine.org)

App + easy to read website would be the way to go.

Check out the llustrations of the Air Canada DC-8 on page 37 - 'illustrations by Juanita Franzi, Aero illustrations'...??

I have always regarded the no 4 engine on a four engined machine to be the RIGHT hand outer.....

And the illustrations show it to be......

Or, am I just being a bit pedantic?

(No reflection on Mr Job's excellent article - just 'poor' proofing by the mag. editors..??)

All of the complaining must have worked, I just got a revised email at 12:20pm that contains the link. No mention of them spamming me twice due to the error though.

Half the thing is unreadable on a screen.

I want my money back !

‘This research suggests that the performance of a pilot certainly does not differ dramatically at 1500 hours from that at 1499 hours.’

How is it spam, don't you have to subscribe to receive Flight Safety email alerts?
They made an error and followed up to correct it. I'm cool with that.

Actually, I think it's more a case of having to unsubscribe to stop getting it. I'm pretty sure I never subscribed.

The point is though, as VH-XXX said. They didn't send out an email saying, oops, we stuffed up, here's the link, something I've seen from a lot of other organisations and companies. They just sent out another, almost identical, but corrected one, as if the first one never happened. Reminds me of something George Orwell wrote.

I still get a giggle from the little plastic calendar they sent out in 2009 promoting drugs and alcohol and the .02 limit. You know, the one where 2010 didn't have March :D :ugh:
