PPL Schools in Florida

Hi all,

I know the subject of flight training abroad (especially Florida) has been done to death, I have ready many opinions and experiences on related threads.

I'm currently about 1/3 of the way through my ppl training, I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the UK weather and my rate of progress. I'm off to Florida in the next few months for a holiday anyway so I'm thinking of adding 10-14 days and hopefully finishing it off.

So far EFT and NAC are on my short list, however I have noticed these appear to be geared up for large numbers and CPL students - so I'm wondering if anyone anyone knows of any other smaller scale schools they can recommend? or aren't these geared up for JAA like the larger outfits?

If not I would like to hear recent (inside 12 months) feedback regarding PPL training at NAC or EFT.

I am at EFT currently and seen guys come and go doing just PPL with them. None of them had problems and all done in a very good time. Treated no differently to any other course students and instructors are brilliant. This of course is just from my experience but thought I would share anyway. Can't comment on any other schools of course.
