I fail to see why anyone should lease to you a c-172 for 12 months if you only fly it and pay for say 1 hour in a whole year.

you must make a commitment.

Buy one, then sell it when you're done?

For the OP. Never, ever going to happen.
You'll need to expect to have to fly around 25-30 hours a month.

If you can't do that then buy one, there's plenty around.

Hi

Thanks for the replies and suggestions.

In the last PA28 i leased, from 01/10/2011 to 01/10/2012 i did 495.20 hours, don't you think thats showing enough commitent?.

I agree buying one would be the answer but i can't get the money.:{

Cheers

You haven't mentioned what your going to do with it.

Why not get a permit machine half your fuel costs and get a better fast machine.

Tread stone you mention you can't get the money to buy one but say in 12month period you leased one you did 495.20hours at an average of 100pound an hour equates to £49,520 how did you pay this

Would you be the only pilot flying it?

I am getting a weaver smell about this.

I apologise to the OP if this is not the case.
