I believe that aircraft has a geared Lycoming GSO 480 engine. I just cringed at the rough throttle handling in the middle low pass. You can hear the prop rapidly going from pushing to pulling and back again, something that is absolute death to the engines' planetary reduction gear set.:=. He better have lots of money for gearbox repairs if that kind of abuse is a regular feature of his "display" :hmm:

I rather doubt imminent demise from a F 16 missile is a realistic danger when flying near Breighton, although I stand by to be corrected by British posters;)

Seriously though, these kind of gross power changes on a simple low pass speak to poor aircraft management. I realize sometimes sh*t happens and you got to do what you got to do but I would suggest it is not an example of good aircraft operation......
