View Full Version : A340-300 2 engines out, small "A" next to N1

When training two engines out (same wing) in the sim on A340-300's, one can often see a small "A" next to the N1 indication of one of the engines.

Anybody an idea what this is? Seems to be not documented at all...

Thanks

A wild guess would be IGN maybe(A or B)?
As I recall on the A32S A Igniters are required for dispatch as they are the ones AVL in case of ELEC EMER CONF

Any its just a guess

Daniel

I would suggest the Sim is inaccurate, message should be A FLOOR in Amber to the left of no1 N1.

EK380. If you find out let us know...it's an interesting one and I have scanned through all the A340 docs on Smart Cockpit's website with no luck.

Spannersatcx, no SIM FAULT and YES I do know what Alpha Floor is! This has nothing to do with IGN, Alpha Floor.

Cedmonson684; will let you know on here. No luck so far.
