Was there any tarmac left over with which to repair the appalling, pothole-ridden access road?

You will be pleased to know that some of the Tarmac did go on the entrance road and you no longer need a tank to navigate your way to the buildings ;)

Excellent!

AMG suspension and Turweston aerodrome roads didn't really go that well together!

I never knew they did AMG suspension on a push bike?

I believe that there's some connection between Ducatti motorcycles and Mercedes-AMG, but I don't know of any AMG-branded bicycle.

max roll rate, that's a very significant increase in runway length - hope the forthcoming Silverstone income goes some way to paying for it!

IIRC Turweston has a limit on daily movements as a result of aircraft-conscious neighbours (in a bad way)

Has something changed? A longer runway suggests more, and bigger.

The extra runway utilised a taxiway that had been put in place to reach the next new apron area that is yet to be finished , it allows safer operations for aircraft already using the field so not for more or bigger aircraft although that would be nice :ok:
