Hi all,
Just to say, tomorrow's Fly-In at Strathaven is still on despite the weather.
Today has not been as wet as forecast, so the runway is still useable - just give us a call on 0797 997 1301 for a weather update tomorrow. (If the cloudbase lifts a little!)
Regardless, we will still have hovercraft and radio-controlled models on the runway from around 3pm until 4:15pm - although they will make way for any arrivals if you give us a call on safety.com
Strathaven Ales are settling niely in the hangar, the BBQ tent is being set up and the bands are wiring up the hangar stage and accoustic tent (eh? wires in an accoustic tent?)
Regardless of the weather, HangarFest with about seven live acts will be going ahead - 350-plus tickets sold!
Time 7:30-11:30pm.
If flying in to that, be aware the camping area is to the north of the runway - so watch for anyone "taking a short cut".
