After flying around without an RT license for a couple of years (And staying off the airwaves m'lud) I find myself needing an RT license for when I want to do foreign trips.
Can anyone reccomend an examiner to me that can test at short notice? (Preferably this week).
I'm based in the Farnborough/Camberley/Basingstoke/Reading general area.

Do plenty of revision before you take it and it is a 2 part exam, theory and practical? I have just passed theory and about to do practical which is a 3 hour exam.

I did mine with a wonderful old chap called George (sorry, forgotten his surname) down at Biggin about 3 or 4 years ago, and at very short notice indeed - perhaps worth a call to the flight schools there for his details? I am also based in your neck of the woods, and from memory the practical was no longer than half an hour. Good luck!
isn't there a guy called Derek Davidson normally advertises in back of some of the magazines I am in the same boat so we may get a deal on 2 of us ? think he is in Bournemouth

Mine was about 20 minutes as well excluding the route prep beforehand.

There was a chap in Bourne (Cambs) called Ash Holding who ran a ground school and specialised in RT. His website seems down at the moment.
