From the "other" forum.
Evelyn amassed an almost surreal 57.000hrs in her long flying career and was, as far as I know, the person with most flying hours alive today. Certainly the highest number for any female pilot ever. There was Ed Long in Alabama who apparently had 64.000hrs when he died a couple of years ago and there are rumours of a Hans Vanderflugt who passed the 70.000hr mark. Clay Lacy apparently has 55.000hrs and should therefore be one of highest time pilots still alive after Evelyn's passing.
RIP to an extraordinary lady and flying career.
