Just wondering if anyone who has applied for the Dispatch Coordinator job with Air Tanker has heard anything from them? I know that there was an assessment day in Jan. I emailed the HR dep and got a speedy response advising that they have my application, are working through the cv's and will be in touch "in the coming week". I have heard nothing after yet another email to ATr. No news is good news I suppose :-/

Weren't the assessment days in late Jan, and one in early Feb?

I haven't heard anything back either, assume its bad news :ok:

Yes that's right. I am hoping we are still in the running for selection. There were about 5 different positions closing on the same day. I think they gave themselves a huge task in processing applications in just over a week before the selection days. I am being optimistic in thinking no news is good news.

Same here, I got my rejection letter the other day. I at least expected an interview as I have 6 years experience dispatching A330's for a major British Airline and demonstrated all the qualities they asked for in my cv & covering letter. I smell as rat too re the RAF job losses :(

Errr... :suspect:

Maybe there were others better qualified for the job role?

Simply having dispatched (and is that load planned, crew briefed etc or just a few gate print outs and a loadsheet from CLC?) and 'having the desired qualities' doesn't qualify you for an interview :hmm:

There's nothing fishy about the job advert or role :ok:

Jobs for the boys in the RAF, always has been that way and always will be IMHO.
