Anyone know the current status of GSS? I see the last extention for Atlas to operate for BA expired on November 30th. Has another extention been granted?

According to Official Record Series 2 (http://www.atol.org.uk/airlinelic/pdf_files/or2number2.pdf) no 1517 of the 27th November, BA has been given yet another extension to operate N494MC and N495MC from the 1st to 31st December.

A couple rumors:
"Majority partner" pulled out of the deal. Makes sense in current economy -- what would the longevity and profitability of any contract with BA be...
On hold for "regulatory reasons." Also makes sense if the British Cargo Coalition (or whatever the name of that group is) has made enough noise before the DETR and CAA...
"DOA." May be a combination of the above...
