Since all JAA documents are copyright, you won't get the full JAR-OPS for free anywhere, the JAA website only has Section 1.. .. .The only other place to get JAR-OPS on the net is the IHS Website Of course, you'll have to pay an arm and a leg for it.

What? How can public law and regulation be copyright? (That's a genuine question). Paid for by the taxpayer and then applied to the taxpayer. . .. .I had the same questions a while ago, and had to dig around various sites to get copies from the Internet. I did indeed find those same copies for a huge sum. Fortunately someone had the solution.. .. .On this site, they are available at a price related to their true value; ie: FREE. . .. . Free JAR's.

CH. .. .JAR-OPS is not public law and regulation. It is a harmonised standard agreed by the members of the JAA. It is for JAA member states to give legal effect the standard. How they do that will vary according to their legal systems.. .. .Section one of the JARs are the "requirements" and as has been pointed out are available on the JAA web-site. The contents of section 2 of JARs are not requirements but guidance and expanatory material.. .. .While UK legislation is crown copyright it may be "reproduced free of charge provided that it is reproduced accurately and that the source and copyright status of the material is made evident to users".
