Kinshasa would be a gold mine for any operator from the Middle East but with a runway that is only half usable, an apron that is a free for all, non existent airport facilities, deplorable security and bribes being demanded for everything I think it will be a while before any airline adds it to their network.

QATAR Airways starting 03JUL12 is launching 3 weekly Doha – Perth service, on board Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Service operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with following schedule:

QR900 DOH0150 – 1815PER 332 246
QR901 PER2230 – 0520+1DOH 332 246

Still nothing to Scotland, very disappointing especially for the Olympics next year. There have been mutterings for BHX as well. Still I guess EK have the market sown up here so no chance of any further expansion.
