I am wanting to know how much fuel an MD-90 sized plane burns while idling, because I was sitting in one for 45 minutes at DFW because they wouldn't let the ground crew outside because of lightning hazard.
I highly suspect it would be cheaper to give them cute vechicles to protect them from lightning than it would burn fuel waiting.... What do you think?
