Can anyone tell me if their is a document which details precautions/advice/recommendations etc. to be followed during refuelling?

I am specifically interested in UK general aviation operation.

Excelent link, Sleeping. I think it's worth using this topic to extend the debate slightly to the variations from the norm as laid out in that document.

For instance, in Italy, you can only refuel with pax on board if there is a fire truck in attendance. They charge for this, quite a considerable sum. Same in France, but they don't charge (as far as I am aware, I cite Lyons as the example for that.)

These vaguaries I haven't seen published in any of the documents available to me as skipper. Only folklore or bitter experience has enlightened me.

Anyone any other European or World differences we should be aware of?
