Hi @all,

in the Lasors, they say:

- Hold either a NIght Qualification or Night Rating and be in current flying practice.

Does someone know what they mean with "current flying practice"?

Does they mean a valid night rating? (1 night landing in 90 days)?

The usual vague meaningless comment that abounds in LASORS. As the currency requirement for an FI course is 5 hours in the previous 6 months, one could not expect any more.

As there is no longer any night currency requirement, the 90 day rule is entirely related to the carriage of passengers, it is not a measure of "rating currency"

Since a student is part of the flight crew and not a passanger, the 1 night landing in 90 days would not apply.

If you have an instrument rating the rule does not apply anyway.
