Hi,
How useful is a chronograph for flying and how does it work?
Just got my hands on a nice Swatch chronograph but no instructions, so am just admiring it at present! http://www.pprune.org/ubb/NonCGI/frown.gif Would love to use it for flying if possible.
Thanks.

hey slammed duck, don't forget to wear the pilot shades first, otherwise it sure won't work :)
as for Plane Mad, you don't need a chronograph (especially such a cheapie...) for flying.
The only thing you really need is money, lotsof :)

Don't forget to attach the tan Ray Ban case to your belt.
Seriously, the best watch I've ever had for flying is a "cheapie". (sort of) A Citizen Navihawk, which is great for me because I cross many time zones at a time.
I never use the chronograph functions, though.

Wear the watch at the same time as you wear the shades and drive the 911! A £10 digital from Argos will do the job perfectly well - however, if I can ever afford that Breitling ........

Hi PM, dont forget the White silk scarf, and multi lens goggles with Leather helmet, and it helps a lot with a pair of wings, or better still a Rotor! plus always wind the darned thing up(the watch that is)
