What does the spanish CASA stand for ?

Who was the launch customer for the A340?

What language does Airbus management predominantly use? Or are they all multi lingual?

BA's first Airbus was a A320 introduced in 1988! Info from www.britishairways.com (http://www.britishairways.com)

Airbus is a European business, with stakeholders in Britain, Germany, France etc. I believe they use English as their trade language, as this is the most widely spoken language in the industry.

Finally, I think Lufthansa was the launch customer to the A340, but not 100% sure!
