Runway refurbishment

Does anyone know of any documents/articles relating to the implications of operating from parallel taxiways while the main runway is being refurbished? This relates to a major international airport.

Although there's nothing on the AAIB website, there's bound to be some form of report into the Gatwick incident late 80s/early 90s when a British Island 1-11 landed on the taxiway instead of the standby runway (when the main was closed for work) with a 737 taxiing out.
