Following extensive research on automation dependency, an operator has recently amended its cyclic simulator training syllabus to include at least one hour every three months to be solely devoted to manual raw data flight sequences. The choice of sequence is left to the PF. The only proviso is no automatics of any type. So far, the most popular sequences selected seem to be crosswind (30 knots plus) ILS and landings, unusual attitude recoveries, and high and low (circuit height or less) stall recoveries.

Given similar latitude, what sequences would you choose to be conducted within the time limit stated?

The 747 mob I was with a few years ago used to do a lot of that back then. You'd have to hand-fly a few approaches, circuits, etc.
I guess I assumed that many other airlines did the same thing.
