What is a DEFERRED PROCEDURE on ECAM and how it is different from a normal sensed procedure?

Defered Proc's are those that could be applicable after an ECAM sensed or ECAM non sensed but activated by the crew.

Non sensed are abnormal/emergency procedures not a automatically displayed by theECAM, i.e:
Tail Pipe Fire
Ditching/Forced landing
Unreliable IAS

Examples of Deffered Procedures:
LDG O'Weight
ENG relight
If Icing conditions exist

They may be required later before approach and landing but not applicable at the time of an abnoramal (sensed or not sensed). The Defered Proc should be activated to get the full list of procedures to be reviewed for any APP and LDG implications (decision making of where to go) but completion of the procedure can be delayed until required, i.e. on approach.

When applying ECAM procedure after you complete STATUS, the approach procedures part such as Gravity gear extension, slat/flap jammed proc. are known as Deferred procedure because they are applied during approach.
