Hi there,

Could someone please explain to me what type of oxygen system is used for passengers and crew in a light twin like a seneca or a turbine single like a caravan? Does each passenger and crew member have a mask or nose hose to wear when the aircraft climbs above a certain altitude?

Thanks

A variety of systems is seen in the smaller end of the marketplace ... there is a very neat approach designed and marketed by a crowd in Melbourne here in Australia which works well and is extremely compact and portable.

Any system is going to comprise a simple plumbing layout leading to individual mask or nasal assemblies.

One word of note for would be DIY installations ... there are a few traps for young players and occasionally ill-considered designs end spectacularly ....
