A320 smoke

When does smoke become the greatest threat ?
What are the other threats ?
What im getting to is, what is safer, to enter emerg elec config first.
Or get established in the smoke removal config, before.

AT ANY TIME, of the procedure, if R SMOKE/FUMES becomes the GREATEST R THREAT:

R - SMOKE/FUMES REMOVAL ... CONSIDER

R _ ELEC EMER CON FIG .......... CONSIDER R Refer to the end of the procedure to set ELEC EMER R CONFIG

Follow the QRH. You'll try to identify the source. Whenever the smoke becomes to much you go to the smoke removal procedure. Midway this procedure it tells you to continue with identifying the source. Last resource is the emer elec config.

IMHO it really depends on the situation.

If density is a serious threat then you are looking at removal.
If lack of source info ineffectiveness of other smoke procedures is a serious threat then look at EEC.
If both are serious threats then maybe you want both.

Key thing is to have a quick think about what each of the two will achieve for you.
