Is there anyone around who's clued-up on the Honeywell/Bendix/King Skymap IIIC?

If so, is there a way of adding a waypoint in the format VOR/NDB/bearing/distance? One workaround is creating a waypoint visually, but I'm more interested in permanently storing the waypoints at the planning stage.

If I get a bit bored at work this afternoon I could probably derive a formula and put it in an Excel sheet for you.

Input would be Long, Lat of VOR and Radial and Distance from VOR. Output would be Long, Lat for your point. Would this do the job for you?

That's much appreciated, but I'm 99% certain it can be done with input in the format VOR/radial/distance, which would be a lot easier as lat/long input on the Skymap is a bit long-winded with the joystick and without data keys. I'm just ploughing through 150 pages of manual.....
