Hi All,

Probably everybody's dream is to own (a share in) an aircraft. At least it's mine :O

What would be the best trade website in Europe? Which one would you recommend? I'm already familiar with the following sites:

Planecheck.com
Afors (Simple website, but does the job)
Controller.com (mainly US aircraft)
Globalplanesearch (search function is not very good)

Thanks.

Ps. I searched the forum. But couldn't find a topic

If you are looking to buy a plane, you have to use all of them, plus read the adverts-only mags like GA-Europe.

Also do a google on aircraft type followed by "for sale" :)

Barnstormers and tradeaplane are two of the big mainly US sites.

For shares, have a look at the Flyer & Pilot boards and the UKGA site.

Often shares are only posted on the noticeboards of their home base, so a tour of local fields may yield results. You might also then tap into the local knowledge.

IO540 and Mark 1: Thanks for the tips. Didn't know the UKGA website.

Unfortunately few shares are sold in the Netherlands. I wish I lived in the UK. Much more opportunities for buying a share in the UK.
