How much does a gallon or litre of JET A1 (DUTY FREE) cost at the main London airports, say, LHR or LGW?

Thanks.

Capt Byrd, I would like to know the total cost i.e. how much the airline pays. Thanks for any info and best wishes for a Happy New Year!

It all depends...airlines may have one rate, private operators another.

Operating a VIP 727, I have several "contract" fuel accounts, but another technique that works well is to negotiate directly with the vendor.

For instance, if I only need to uplift 10,000 lbs but could take more if "the price is right", I've found many vendors will give me their best "airline" rate if I uplift the max.

Still doesn't change the fixed costs, though, as mentioned above...
