According to airlinersonline.com Continental de Comores is getting a Boeing 747SP.
it's an ex Air China aircraft (n139sw) they say. Anybody has more details ?
What routes will they use it on ?

Global Air 747SP VH-OZX has also been cancelled off the Australian Registers (20 July 2001) with the note ' Exported to comores island'

So, is Continental de comores getting 2 747SP's or ????

The guy behind it is a 'mad' german...he turned up in The Gambia as 'Continental Wings Gambia' and went around telling everybody he was the 'National Carrier' - much to the annoyance of the state owned GIA who are the real national carrier!

I saw the original Continental Comores business plan and it was a very unimaginative Paris, Munich etc. to Moroni with very low utilisation i.e. 3-4 days flying a week...

The aircraft is from Mr. Butler?!...sounds like a steer clear to me!!
