I am reading a book at the moment which was written in 1980.I came accross this incident involving the B727 and became curious. At the time of writting the book the investigation was still on ,so does anyone know what the end result of it all was? Were the crew found to be guilty of resetting the cvr and were they suspended? - did they ever fly again?
All info welcomed.

Try reading 'Emergency - Crisis on the flight deck' - Stanley Stewart. From Transair pilot shop. Written in 1989.

Gibson was skipper on Tristars, then F/O on 747. 1984, retired on medical grounds due stress, took two years off on his farm, then came back to skipper 747.

Kennedy stawed with TWA, got his command, Banks never returned to flying.
