I am eligible to take the Flt. Eng. course, according to the FAA, but they no longer keep a register of courses or training centres, either for Europe or USA!. Any ideas please folks?. The CAA have been "as usual",non replying, they have withdrawn the relevant CAP and AIC, but not replaced them with any orders or policy as there is not much demand for F.E. training or licencing!.
Help please,I must do this course asap to get my civvy licence, so I can take up a job

Hello there.

STI ( Simulator Training International ) from Seattle-Tacoma SEATAC airport does a F/E school for about 5000 USD. Also both Aeroservice and PanAm from Miami do it.
With Aeroservice you can request the type aswell ( B727 or B747 ).
I do not have the number for STI, but try www.google.com (http://www.google.com) for search engine. Aeroservice website is www.aeroservice.com (http://www.aeroservice.com) .
