I woul like you to advice me in this:. .I actually have 350 TT and I am planning to get a B737-800 type rating + 250 hours.Do you think it would help to get an airline job?Is it better to use the money to build more flight time in planes such as C150,C172 or C90?. .Tkanks

You posted the same question in Wannabes, there you said you had 550 hours total time.

I would give it a shot and then target Ryan Air and Excel Airways as they are both recruiting pilots on the B737-800.. .Good luck!

I say go for the type rating and any jet time you can get - it will make you more marketable. Plus, it seems like low-time pilots are quite marketable in the UK - both Ryanair and easyJet have picked up some low-time pilots recently (less than 500 hours with a 737 type rating). I hear the 737-800 training is a BITCH, however.. .. .Obi Wan - hey, what are you up to these days? Still flying in Italy or are you on with a low-fare UK carrier (easyJet, GO, etc.)? What's your status?. .. .Cheers
