Am I right in thinking that an examiner with only landplane ratings can revalidate a PPL's SEP(sea) & (land) class ratings? Assume that the PPL meets the revalidation by experience requirements in LASORS and the examiner is carrying out administrative action only. I can't see anything that says not.

Any Examiner authorised to sign Certificates of Revalidation, by experience, can do so, provided you meet the experience requirements to revalidate that rating.

Thought so, thanks Whopity.
