Have stayed at the moonee ponds quest apartments for the races when across the strait. need to book early if needed long term. :O

The helicopter school at Essendon has accommodation available upstairs - available to people needing to be at essendon but not necessarily at the heli school.

Its pretty nice, and you can look out the window straight into the control tower.
